Paediatric Potentials will be running our annual Christmas program on December 21 & 22. Each program will incorporate a range of different activities, including:
fine motor,
Christmas crafts,
festive food, and
social skills.
Each program will be 90 minutes in duration. Children will be split up into ages/abilities with activities to suit current skill level. All ages are welcome to participate!
Cost per program is $150/per child and are eligible to be funded through your child's NDIS plan.
You are more than welcome to do one or both days, as each day will be different.
Children will also receive a small Christmas gift on completion of each program.
Whilst your children are participating in the programs, why not head up to Garden City and finish off any last minute shopping or treat yourself to a coffee at Zali's cafe (conveniently located in Garden City Office Park).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Can I stay with my child at the clinic while they participate in the group?
Due to the higher than usual number of children attending our clinic at the same time during the Christmas Groups, we kindly asked that you drop your child off about 10 minutes prior to their group start time and arrive back to pick them up at the scheduled finish time. This will greatly assist our team to move the children in to the groups in a timely manner. We are also conscious of limited parking in the office park as well as maintaining social distancing as much as possible in the clinic.
Our therapists are very experienced in dealing with groups of children and will take great care of them during their session.
Of course, we understand that there will be circumstances, where dropping off your child will not be possible and we will accommodate as best as possible. Please note that there is additional parking throughout the office park, but please make sure to only park in either a Paediatric Potentials nominated carpark (these are signed with our logo) or any other unmarked carparks.

If you are plan managed and have set to approve invoices prior to payment, we ask that you promptly approve the invoice(s) for payment once requested by your plan manager.
My child has NDIS funding, do I need to pay for this out of my own funds?
No. The cost of your child attending any of the Christmas Groups is eligible to be funded through your child’s NDIS plan.
My child’s NDIS plan is looked after by a plan Manager, do I need to do anything different compared to a normal OT session?
No, our friendly team will raise an invoice during the week commencing 14 December 2020 (or earlier) and forward this to your plan manager for payment directly to us. There is nothing else that you need to do.

What happens if my child is sick, can they still attend the Christmas Groups?
To ensure that all children attending this year’s Christmas Groups as well as the team at Paediatric Potentials are not put at risk unnecessarily, we kindly ask that if your child is unwell or is showing flu-like symptoms, that you keep them at home. Please note that our standard cancellation fee policy applies for all attendees.
