Rebecka obtained a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland.
Rebecka is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. She takes a great interest in each individual family and adopts a therapy approach that targets the goals of the child, whilst ensuring that her interventions fit with each family’s needs. Rebecka strives towards seeing the joy it brings as each child develops skills and progresses towards achieving their goals.
Throughout her work, she empowers families to support their child, working together to find strategies that will work best for each individual family. She also adopts, and sees the benefit in, a collaborative approach, working with teachers and other health professionals to provide consistent and integrated care helping each child to reach their potential.
Rebecka's areas of expertise include: learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders, physical impairments, behaviour, independent living skills, self regulation, fine motor, handwriting and play skills.
In her spare time, Rebecka enjoys camping, baking, looking after her pet chickens and spending quality time with her friends and family.
